Guide to Reuse PocketLock on New Pants
Share
PocketLock can be reused on a new pair of pants using a new set of 4 fabric tape pieces. Each PocketLock comes with an extra set of tape for reusing on one pocket
How to reattach tape - 4 steps:
- Gently peel off both PocketLock strips.
- Use your nail to remove any remaining glue. Avoid sharp objects to prevent damage to the protective layer over the magnets. Some glue residue is acceptable.
- Take out the 4 pieces of tape from the small envelope. Each piece has two white release films. Remove one side of the tape release film and place the tape in the same location as the old tape at the top front ends of each PocketLock strip.
- Gently remove any tape residue on the pocket fabric using your nail. It is difficult to get all residue off, but
PocketLock is now ready for a new attachment. Refer to the video "how to attach PocketLock"
Nb. Tips for removing tape stains (PocketLock uses a permanent adhesive tape. May leave some sticky residue and stains):
- Peel Off: Gently try to peel off the tape starting from one edge.
- Apply Heat: If it’s stuck, use a hairdryer on low heat to soften the adhesive, then peel away.
- Remove Residue: Dab rubbing alcohol or adhesive remover on a cotton ball and gently rub any leftover residue.
- Wash: Wash the item according to care instructions to fully remove any remnants.
