Hello, everyone!

I’m Kasper, an entrepreneur from Denmark and the founder of PocketLock (Kaplock ApS). I have a background in business development and product innovation, and I’m driven by creating practical solutions that make everyday life easier. With PocketLock, the goal is simple: to make pockets reliable and help people avoid the cost and frustration of losing or damaging their valuables.

The idea for PocketLock came from my own experience. I often lost or broke things like phones because they slipped out of my pockets. After realizing that many others had the same problem, I decided to commit seriously to solving it.

The first idea for PocketLock came during a trip to Koroni where I constantly lost my phone from my short pockets, a coastal town in the Peloponnese in Greece, known for its culture and warm hospitality. That trip sparked the start of a long development process.

Since then, I’ve worked with a Danish engineering company to develop and refine more than 50 prototypes. The result is PocketLock, a discreet magnetic pocket sealer that attaches easily with a special fabric tape and stays hidden on the innerside of the pocket. It closes the pocket automatically while still allowing quick access. PocketLock fits most pants and pocket styles and stands up to daily use, including low-temperature machine washing.

We launched PocketLock through a Kickstarter campaign and delivered it to backers with great feedback. Since then, we’ve opened this webshop and launched on Amazon US, where customers use PocketLock for everyday wear, travel, preventing pickpocketing, and even as a helpful tool for people with limited finger mobility. Some also use PocketLock for jackets and bags.

PocketLock holds a patent in Denmark and is patent-pending globally. Although the concept seems simple, creating a solution that was reliable, slim, and easy to attach took years of work and testing. We’re now developing a version 2 that will be even more versatile.

PocketLock has become a small family business. My wife helps with social media and marketing, and our dog Paul is our unofficial mascot. We picked him up just two days after launching the Kickstarter. Paul is a two-year-old golden doodle who reflects the curiosity and friendliness we aim to bring into our brand.
