PocketLock does not close properly

Check Attachment:

  • Ensure PocketLock is attached correctly
  • Watch the instructional video on how to attach PocketLock here and follow the instructions carefully
  • Important: PocketLock should be positioned near the inner edge of the pocket opening for the best results. See clip from attachment guide below:

Also, confirm that the PocketLock is parallel with the pocket edge and that the magnets on both PocketLock strips are aligned and not displaced. See illustration below:

I attached PocketLock correctly, but the closure isn't strong enough:

      • The adhesive tape needs time to fully cure, so PocketLock might slightly adjust its position after a few hours. You may find that the closure becomes stronger after wearing it for a while
      • The magnetic strength also improves as the tape bonds with the fabric

      Reattachment:

      • If you find PocketLock is attached incorrectly, you can reattach it. Refer to the guide "how to reuse PocketLock on new pants" for instructions on replacing the tape
      • Also, consult the section “How to Adjust PocketLock for Better Closure Strength”
      • If the original tape is in good condition, you can try reusing it. Be sure to place the white release film back on the tape before reattaching it, so it will be easier to slide PocketLock into the right position. The tape may still be effective if you reattach it shortly after your first attempt, as the adhesive needs time to set. For example, if it has only been a couple of minutes since you first attached it.
